In my view, I would say,

This is “a very late decision taken by Rajinikanth” on entering into politics.

“He should have made at least a part-time entry into politics like vijayakanth in 1996 where his words had more power on opposing with an iron lady of Tamilnadu and more he had a massive face value on that time [1996 assembly elections].”

“As I got information from my very close sources,” Rajini had a chance to become CM on 1996 assembly elections” and he rejected it, which was a not a good decision. I would say that he should have benefitted to some extent for his contribution and work [Campaigning and press meet] on 1996 elections.”

“Finally I would say Rajini had missed a great golden opportunity and now he is making an entry to politics which can be defined as a normal activity of an actor who will enter into politics when his face value starts to disappear in the initial stage.”
